Rediscovering Black & White Photography
As many photographers rediscover the magic of monochrome, duotones and more, there exists a seemingly endless array of software options for making black and white conversions, sepia tones etc.  Of the many programs available, iCorrect EditLab Pro and iCorrect EditLab ProApp offer some of the easiest, most flexible, and most fun controls we've ever worked with.

Take, for example the image above.  In its original state as a color file, it's full of brightly saturated colors.  After a few simple steps with iCorrect EditLab Pro it becomes quite a nice duotone image for our mid-winter sale piece.

To begin the Toning process, click on the "B/W" box within Tab 4 of iCorrect EditLab Pro's tool set.  This will desaturate all of the colors in your image.  Then set the Toning Color by clicking on the "Toning" box also within Tab 4.  You can also achieve the precise look and feel of your image after selecting your toning color by adjusting the overall tonal range, or contrast curves, or shadow and highlights found in Tab 2 and Tab 3.

After a bit of experimenting you will find that creating customized conversions is really quite simple and can be a lot of fun, too.

Batch Processing for High-Volume Jobs with
iCorrect EditLab ProApp and ProcessQ

For high volume jobs, you may want to consider using iCorrect EditLab ProApp, the stand-alone version with ProcessQ that fully automates the digital workflow by synchronizing your edits over any number of images for unparalleled batch processing.

Simply load all of the images from your job, make your conversion on a representative image, then select all of the images in the ProcessQ and synchronize your conversion across the entire job with the "Sync" button.  Then click on the "Save all..." button and watch iCorrect EditLab ProApp process the entire job automatically.  What could be easier?
