Customer Testimonial

"We are very fast to let a company know if their product doesn't meet expectations, and very slow if ever do we let them know when a product is great. Your product IS great! I'm a school photographer for a small, private school in Vienna, Austria. Your software has saved my life!"

Featured Technology: iCorrect EditLab

iCorrect® EditLab combines iCorrect® color technology with image processing and automated workflow and batch processing features to make digital photo color correction extremely fast and easy.

iCorrect EditLab Pro makes global color corrections based on:

  • an automatic analysis of your image,
  • analysis of certain reference or "memory" colors that you identify in your image,
  • interactive dialog control settings, and
  • Photoshop's color management setup.

Without a doubt, some of the fastest and easiest color correction and color editing tools are found in iCorrect EditLab 5.5 Pro Plug-in and iCorrect EditLab ProApp 6.0 (stand-alone version).  Even if you are among the most proficient Photoshop aficionados, iCorrect EditLab Pro technology can save you hours in front of your computer and give you better results.

Featured Products:
iCorrect EditLab Pro Plug-in & iCorrect EditLab ProApp

This month we are featuring our award winning flagship color correction and color editing software, iCorrect EditLab Pro.  If your workflow is based on Photoshop or Elements we recommend iCorrect EditLab Pro 5.5 Plug-in.  If you use Lightroom and have hundreds of photos to color correct you will reduce the hours you spend in front of your computer with the stand alone version, iCorrect EditLab ProApp with ProcessQ. The color correction and editing technology is identical in both versions of EditLab Pro. Many of our customers have both versions.  We use the stand-alone version all the time at the office and are still amazed at the speed with which we can correct literally hundreds of images in no time at all.  Once you understand the options available with the various "Start With" functions and set the "SmartColor" parameters to suit your preferences, you, too, will find it to be a very useful addition to your imaging arsenal.

 iCorrect EditLab Pro-The Extra Advantage

Let's take a look at the following image, and see how iCorrect EditLab Pro gives you additional tools for fine tuning your work.  Its four panel user interface (identified by four numbered tabs) allows you to address independently, color balance, tonal range, brightness/contrast/saturation, and hue-selective edits along with predefined reference or memory colors.  The unique feature of way it handles color space, is that as you correct one thing, you don't inadvertently offset or ruin something else.  As you progress through the tool tabs from left to right, and change you make cannot affect something you did in the previous tab.

First, correct the Color Balance by simply clicking on the black and white cap to remove the overall bluish color cast.

Next, correct the Tonal Range by adjusting the black point and midtone.

Then, fine tune the Brightness/Contrast/Saturation by independently adjusting the global brightness, shadows, highlights, contrast and global saturation.

Finally, finish by tweaking things on a hue-selective basis by boosting the saturation of her sweater, darkening the foliage, and enhancing the skin tones and bench by shifting thier hue slightly, increasing their saturation and making them a little bit darker to give them a richer look.

Black and White Conversion and Adding Sepia Tones

This tutorial illustrates how fast and easy it is to achieve interesting and unique effects by converting any photo to black and white and add sepia tones with just a few clicks with iCorrect EditLab Pro.  Whether you just want to do simple one-click conversions, or would like to experiment with advanced techniques iCorrect EditLab offers a simple, intuitive way to   Let's explore the power behind one of iCorrect EditLab Pro's coolest features.
