Customer Testimonial

"We are very fast to let a company know if their product doesn't meet expectations, and very slow if ever do we let them know when a product is great. Your product IS great! I'm a school photographer for a small, private school in Vienna, Austria. Your software has saved my life!"

Alexandra, Vienna Austria

Greetings,
iCorrect Portrait or iCorrect EditLab Pro?  We get that question all the time.  The answer?  Actually, there are two.  1. It depends.  2. Both.

First, it depends on whether you are just looking for a fast, easy, and effective way of making the otherwise tedious, challenging, and time-consuming task of color correction easier, or if you need to do more involved fine tuning or want to add additional effects like black and white conversion or sepia tones.

In the case of straightforward color correction, iCorrect Portrait's single panel user interface keeps it quick and easy.  Plus, its skin tone technology is somewhat more lifelike at times than iCorrect EditLab Pro's.  Whereas, iCorrect EditLab Pro's unique handling of color space offers one of the best approaches to making more involved edits by enabling you to correct one thing without throwing off another.

iCorrect Portrait - Simple, Straightforward, Effective
The best thing about iCorrect Portrait is it's simple, straightforward effectiveness.  With its uncluttered, single panel user interface, just a few clicks is all it takes to turn a problem shot into a special portrait.

iCorrect EditLab Pro - For That Extra Advantage
Some shots, however, need a bit more work.  Let's take a look at the following image, and see how iCorrect EditLab Pro gives you additional tools for fine tuning your work.  Its four panel user interface (identified by four numbered tabs) allows you to address independently, color balance, tonal range, brightness/contrast/saturation, and hue-selective edits along with predefined reference or memory colors.  The unique feature of way it handles color space, is that as you correct one thing, you don't inadvertently offset or ruin something else.  As you progress through the tool tabs from left to right, and change you make cannot affect something you did in the previous tab.

First, correct the Color Balance by simply clicking on the black and white cap to remove the overall bluish color cast.

Next, correct the Tonal Range by adjusting the black point and midtone.

Then, fine tune the Brightness/Contrast/Saturation by independently adjusting the global brightness, shadows, highlights, contrast and global saturation.

Finally, finish by tweaking things on a hue-selective basis by boosting the saturation of her sweater, darkening the foliage, and enhancing the skin tones and bench by shifting thier hue slightly, increasing their saturation and making them a little bit darker to give them a richer look.
