How to Transfer iCorrect 32/64 bit Plug-ins
From Photoshop CS5 to CS6


iCorrect Plug-ins and Photoshop CS6
Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Windows is available in both 32 and 64 bit versions. The Mac version is only available in 64 bit. iCorrect Portrait 2.0 and iCorrect EditLab Pro 6.0, are compatible with and may be installed in both the 32 and 64 bit Windows versions of CS6. iCorrect Portrait 2.0 and iCorrect EditLab Pro 6.0 Mac 64 bit versions are compatible with and may be installed in the Mac version of CS6. iCorrect OneClick 2.0 Windows 32/64 bit versions may be installed in the Windows versions of CS6. iCorrect OneClick 1.5 Mac version is not compatible with Mac versions of CS5 or CS6.

Transferring iCorrect Plug-ins from CS5 to CS6
This tutorial will lead you through the process of transferring iCorrect Plug-ins currently installed in CS5 to the new installation of CS6. If you do not have CS5 with iCorrect plug-ins installed go to iCorrect Plug-in 32/64 bit installation instructions for Windows or Mac for detailed instructions for installing plug-ins. The tutorial images are based on a Windows installation, however, they are also applicable to the Mac. NOTE: Close all versions of Photoshop before beginning the transfer process.

 
STEP 1: Locate Program (Application) files. Program Files are generally on the C drive on Win computers. Select the 64 bit Program file folder without the X86 designation STEP 2: Select the Adobe Folder

STEP 3: Select Adobe Photoshop CS5 Folder  STEP 4: Select the Plug-ins Folder

STEP 5: Select the CS5 Filters Folder. NOTE: CS6 does not have a Filters subfolder under Plug-ins. STEP 6: Select and Copy iCorrect 64 bit plug-in files (.8bf)

STEP 7:  Go back the the Adobe Program file folder and select Photoshop CS6 (64 bit) STEP 8:  Select and open the CS6 64 bit plug-ins folder (Note: CS6 does not have a Filters Folder)

STEP 9:  Paste iCorrect Plug-ins into CS6 Plug-ins folder FINAL STEP FOR PS CS6 WINDOWS VERSIONS 
Paste iCorrect .8bf files in CS6 Plug-in Folder  If you have iCorrect Plug-ins installed in the 32 bit version of Photoshop CS5 and installed the 32 bit version of CS6 you will want to transfer the iCorrect plug-in 32 bit versions to CS6. To do this simply go back the Adobe program folder under Program File (x86) and repeat the process using the 32 bit versions of CS5  and CS6.

When the iCorrect plug-in files transfer is complete you may open Photoshop CS6 
USING iCorrect PLUG-INS IN CS6:

When you have completed the iCorrect plug-in files transfer you may open Photoshop CS6. Open an image and go to the Filter pull down menu to select the iCorrect plug-in you wish to use to color correct the photo. Unless you have deleted the iCorrect serial number from the registry you should not have to re-enter the serial number.
